The Sublette County Sheriff’s Office reported 174 calls from Sept. 20 to Sept. 26, including 10 suspicious incidents, seven 911 hang-up calls, seven checks on people’s welfare, seven animal problems, 12 traffic complaints, one search and rescue, two fires, seven livestock problems, one tobacco problem, eight urinalyses and 21 vehicle identification number inspections.

The Sublette County Sheriff’s Office reported 223 calls from Sept. 13 to Sept. 19, including a vehicle fire, two grass fires, nine suspicious incidents, 13 livestock problems, a disturbance, two search-and-rescue calls, 11 accidents, five welfare checks, 33 urinalyses and 30 vehicle identification number inspections.

Woman still to appear on felony stabbing charges

After pleading not guilty to an Aug. 20 arrest for driving under the influence of alcohol, a Riverton woman still needs to appear in Sublette County Circuit Court on a subsequent charge of probation revocation and a felony charge of aggravated assault and battery.

The Sublette County Sheriff’s Office reported 251 calls from Sept. 3 to Sept. 12 including a death, at least nine accidents, two possible heart attacks, five juvenile problems, a fight, vandalism, 57 citizen assists, 12 suspicious incidents, four thefts, one assault, 52 urinalyses, 45 vehicle identification number inspections and eight checks on people’s welfare.

Man receives probation for theft of rifles

An out-of-state man who lived in Pinedale while employed here was sentenced to supervised probation after pleading no contest to one felony rifle theft charge.

Sheriff’s report – Sept. 7

The Sublette County Sheriff’s Office was closed on Monday for Labor Day. From Aug. 30 to Sept. 2, there were 133 calls including at least six accidents, a possible heart attack, two juvenile problems, six motorist assists, 12 citizen assists, two suspicious incidents, two thefts, 17 urinalyses, 20 vehicle identification number inspections, two calls to search-and-rescue and three checks on people’s welfare.
