WLSB plans July 10-11 meeting


WYOMING – The Wyoming Livestock Board (WLSB) has scheduled a public meeting for Monday, July 10, beginning at 1 p.m. and Tuesday, July 11, at the Wyoming Livestock Board, 1934 Wyott Dr., Cheyenne, Wyo.

Topics include approval of June 1, 2017, minutes, director’s report, awards presentation for past board members, stockyards update, budget update, brand program working group update, brand commissioners update, Chapter 9 brand inspection/recording fee rules which the comment period ended June 13, and in-state-range permit request.

The meeting will reconvene Tuesday, July 11, at 8 a.m. An executive session will be at the beginning of the meeting to discuss personnel matters and receive legal advice. The public business meeting will reconvene at 9 a.m. and topics include animal health update, Chapter 6 brucellosis risk mitigation activities and reimbursement review annual fees in Section 8 (d), request from the Lincoln County Commissioners on the DSA boundary, EIA test on imported horses holding facility, review of the trichomoniasis special focus board order, election of officers and other administrative issues.
