Bondurant Elementary School’s seven students put on a series of
skits Friday night for their annual holiday program, “It’s Christmas Everywhere,” at St.
Hubert’s Episcopal Church in front of a full house.
Teacher Karen Unruh coached first-grader Chelsea Long, second-graders Paiton Peterson,
Tyler Sherill and Noel Meeks and third-graders Preston Saunders, Kaysen Sandoval
and David Long through their presentations and music of Christmas in Germany, Japan,
Australia, Africa, Mexico, Canada, Spain – and finally – Bondurant.
Then all of the youngsters gathered to sing Christmas carols as loudly as they could to
usher in Santa and Mrs. Santa to “Jingle Bells.” Each received a gift and candy cane and
everyone partook of the potluck dinner.
