Silent auction created to benefit McCollum family

WYOMING – Brooks Lake Lodge & Spa has created a silent auction website featuring a collection of luxury and outdoor experiences donated by Wyoming businesses that will donate all proceeds to the family of Rylee McCollum.

The website also provides an option to directly donate to the McCollum family.

Experiences donated so far include getaways at The Work and Brooks Lake Lodge, a private guided tour through Yellowstone National Park from Easy Tour Yellowstone, white water rafting or scenic float trips by Mad River Boat Trips, a 2022 bike park season pass from Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, scenic safari tours and guided fly-fishing experiences.

Businesses interested in donating an item or experience can email Matthew Tousignant at [email protected] by Oct. 8.

The public can log into www.charityauctionstoday.com/auctions/Silent-Auction-for-Rylee-McCollum-26780 between Oct. 11 and 24.

McCollum, a U.S. Marine, was one of 13 American soldiers killed in an attack at the Kabul Airport in Afghanistan on Aug. 26. He was a Jackson resident.

“While our hearts are heavy for the McCollums, we are a tight-knit community of people who care deeply about others, especially service men, women and their families to whom we are eternally grateful. We all want to do everything we can support a happy and healthy family to honor Rylee,” said Matthew P. Tousignat, general manager of Brooks Lake Lodge.
