Sheriff’s report – June 15

The Sublette County Sheriff’s Office reported 211 incidents from June 7 to June 13, including one death, seven accidents, 20 livestock problems, three domestic disputes, two vandalism, a fire, four suspicious incidents, a vicious animal, 17 citizen assists, three welfare checks, 19 urinalyses and 45 vehicle identification number inspections.
June 7
At 5:24 a.m., a red truck speeded by to a dead-end street and parked with its lights on.
At 7:11 a.m., a caller asked for legal options to keep people from speeding through his property.
At 10:08 a.m., a woman complained about a trespasser.
At 10:34 a.m., people were driving recklessly through Marbleton.
At 11:41 a.m., a rancher asked a deputy to see where someone had messed with an irrigation ditch.
At 12:03 p.m., vandalism is under investigation.
At 12:21 p.m., a medical emergency was reported.
At 2:49 p.m., a UPS driver hit and injured a deer.
At 3:20 p.m., a woman gave her driver’s license number to a fraudster and wanted to protect herself.
At 4:23 p.m., a royal blue truck was speeding up and down Lake Road.
At 5:10 p.m., an anonymous person complained about new speed limit signs in Daniel.
At 7:56 p.m., more than 50 cows were on the hillside at the industrial site.
At 8:30 p.m., a deputy checked on a person’s welfare.
At 8:49 p.m., a brown cow was in the middle of the highway.
At 9:34 p.m., two girls on a side-by-side were cutting through people’s properties.
At 10:15 p.m., a vehicle hit a deer near Bondurant.
June 8
At 7:26 a.m., Wyoming Highway Patrol helped with a cattle drive across the road.
At 8:27 a.m., a man’s phone kept calling 911.
At 8:39 a.m., a county employee asked a deputy to check on a person’s welfare.
At 9 a.m., a red calf was beside the road.
At 11:53 a.m., a vehicle ran off the road.
At 12:39 p.m., a woman reported an incident that is under investigation.
At 3:21 p.m., a woman hit a pole in a parking lot.
At 3:55 p.m., a black Lexus SUV was speeding and cutting people off.
At 4:58 p.m., a clinic employee reported an animal attack.
At 6:20 p.m., two black cows were beside the highway near Daniel.
At 8:27 p.m., a camper with a solar panel was parked on a Pinedale street; the owner had permission.
At 8:44 p.m., a man found a wallet in front of Family Dollar; it was returned to its owner.
At 10:09 p.m., a woman complained about a local business.
June 9
At 5:44 a.m., an inmate was taken to Fremont County.
At 7:14 a.m., a town employee said someone broke a bathroom window at the town park.
At 7:44 a.m., a counselor asked a deputy to check on a person’s welfare.
At 9:36 a.m., a white Ford F350 truck pulling a 34-foot camper broke down by the highway.
At 10:10 a.m., a person with a seven-member skunk family asked to talk to animal control.
At 3:32 p.m., a Great Dane semi pulling a refrigerated trailer was all over the road.
At 4:23 p.m., a Nissan Versa and a Dodge Ram truck collided in downtown Pinedale.
At 8:19 p.m., the Converse County Sheriff’s Office passed along a message from a Casper realtor who had locked her dog in a Sublette County home.
At 10:44 p.m., a UPS driver hit a cow.
June 10
At 8:27 a.m., a woman requested eviction paperwork.
At 8:46 a.m., building materials were a traffic hazard on the highway.
At 10:15 a.m., an injured antelope on Forty Rod Road needed to be put down.
At 12:21 p.m., a caller had information about an active investigation.
At 12:58 p.m., a Toyota Tacoma was swerving in and out of both lanes and wouldn’t let the vehicle behind him pass.
At 1:08 p.m., a person reported lost property.
At 2:12 p.m., an accidental 911 caller apparently pressed the phone’s power button five times.
At 2:55 p.m., rocks from a gravel truck leaving the airport chipped a man’s windshield in multiple places.
At 3:03 p.m., a white Ford truck was all over the road.
At 3:43 p.m., the Department of Family Services asked for a deputy’s assistance.
At 5:34 p.m., a male yellow Lab kept jumping a fence put up to keep others from where females were in heat.
At 8:52 p.m., a vehicle hit a deer north of Daniel.
At 11:26 p.m., a woman asked a deputy to come to her house so she could report something.
At 11:28 p.m., a man asked a deputy to check on someone’s welfare.
June 11
At 12:41 a.m., an elderly man was going through mail in the trash. He said he wanted to recycle the mail and a deputy said he should go home.
At 1:53 a.m., an intoxicated man and woman got into a Ford truck.
At 6:09 a.m., ranchers were moving about 700 cows and asked for traffic control at the Hoback Rim.
At 8:12 a.m., a rancher was moving several hundred cows and asked for help with traffic control.
At 9:03 a.m., a theft was reported.
At 10:39 a.m., an older gold car driving erratically south on Highway 191 almost hit someone head-on.
At 10:50 a.m., a calf was running across the highway near Daniel.
At 1:58 p.m., a man’s yard caught on fire the day before because of a lit cigarette; he was out of town and worried it would reignite.
At 2:51 p.m., a Pinedale employee reported more stop signs were pulled out.
At 6:28 p.m., a man said about 10 cows came back after going up the Green River Drift.
At 7:23 p.m., a traffic stop resulted in a driving while intoxicated arrest.
At 7:28 p.m., a domestic dispute was reported.
At 7:39 p.m., a semi driver said the Yukon in front of him was rake-checking him and holding a police badge out the window. The call was transferred to Sweetwater County dispatch.
At 8:09 p.m., a workshop’s motion alarm went off.
At 8:15 p.m., people stopped traffic for a small dog hit by a car in front of American Legion Park.
At 9:30 p.m., a blood draw was requested.
At 10:14 p.m., a deputy helped with a patient’s transfer.
At 10:24 p.m., someone was yelling and music playing so loud the bass was rattling windows.
June 12
At 5:49 a.m., a deputy was asked to pick up a persistent male yellow Lab that showed up again.
At 7:14 a.m., An EOG battery was burning and sending up thick black smoke near Hogsback on Calpet Road; an Exxon employee said he and a crew would check on a well to make sure it wasn’t burning.
At 7:58 a.m., a large cow was on the highway around a blind corner.
At 11:16 a.m., a man called to pick up his arrested son-in-law’s black dog.
At 11:26 a.m., a woman reported trespassing.
At 11:30 a.m., a man reported trespassers.
At 11:31 a.m., two white cars were racing down Highway 191 near the Pinedale Airport.
At 12:04 p.m., a caller was worried about dogs left inside a truck.
At 12:09 p.m., a woman reported harassment.
At 12:47 p.m., a school building’s water or sewer vault was overflowing.
At 2:23 p.m., a white Chevy truck hit a deer.
At 3:55 p.m., a woman called about a juvenile problem.
At 3:37 p.m., a domestic dispute was happening.
At 4:23 p.m., a domestic dispute was reported.
At 5:59 p.m., a woman told two dogs’ owners the dogs aren’t allowed on Sandy Beach but they said they have always brought their dogs.
At 8:52 p.m., a gas station’s front door security alarm went off.
At 10:18 p.m., a dozen kids on foot and in a Dodge pickup were pulling down stop signs.
At 10:37 p.m., a phone stuck in a couch cushion accidentally dialed 911.
At 11:50 p.m., a death was reported.
June 13
At 5:58 a.m., a car’s Sirius SOS button went off.
At 7:53 a.m., four strange horses were in a woman’s yard.
At 10:32 a.m., a woman asked about moving her deceased sister’s body to their hometown.
At 10:48 a.m., a black Chevy truck passed the caller on a double-yellow line.
At 5:31 p.m., a hiker met a woman who was going to use the Miller Lake trial that he discovered was completely blocked. No active search was started.
At 6:39 p.m., the probation officer asked the K9 drug dog to make a search.
At 9:49 p.m., a grass fire was burning low to the ground.
At 10:15 p.m., a bartender was worried about a man who was there all night and not drinking; now he was standing outside and everyone else was gone. It was a homeless man traveling through Wyoming.
At 10:38 p.m., a deputy checked on a person’s welfare.
At 10:46 p.m., a dog inside a duplex townhouse had barked all night.
At 11:52 p.m., a deputy helped with a patient.
