SUBLETTE COUNTY – A new update from Sublette County Public Health released Friday, June 24, shows a sharp return in confirmed COVID cases.
Sublette County Public Health received notification of 44 new positive COVID-19 cases within the county since its last update on June 10. With those latest numbers, Sublette County has experienced 1,992 cases since the pandemic’s beginning – 27 confirmed cases resulted in death.
Because of this sharp rise, Sublette County joined the majority of Wyoming in rising into the medium range for community transmission level.
As of June 20, 3,534 people – approximately 35.95 percent of the county’s population – has been fully vaccinated.
Last week, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention approved vaccines for children as young as 6 months. Public Health will begin offering Pediatric Modern for children between 6 months and 5 years, starting with its June 30 clinic.
Those hoping to make vaccination appointments can do so by calling 307-367-2157.
Vaccination clinics continue to be held Tuesdays at the Public Health Office in the Marbleton Senior Center from 1 to 3:30 p.m. and on Thursdays at the Public Health Office in Pinedale from 1 to 4 p.m.
