Ricketts' parcels face the Daniel junction

Daniel Housing, Jackson Fork share Denver address
SUBLETTE COUNTY – After reading the July 15 Pinedale Roundup article, “Daniel rezone requests would intensify development,” information shared with us shows Jackson Fork Ranch billionaire Joe Ricketts – as Daniel Housing LLC – does indeed own 58.5 acres at the Daniel Junction.
They are three parcels that front the north side of Highway 191.
Both the Daniel Housing LLC and Jackson Fork Ranch holdings show the owner’s address as 1395 S. Platte River Drive, Denver, Colorado 80223.
When Sublette County commissioners approved his application to rezone part of Ricketts’ Jackson Fork Ranch for a high-end destination resort, Ricketts had proposed moving employee housing away from the Upper Hoback Road location near Bondurant.
Attempts to track down rumors Ricketts’ bought property in Daniel was slowed by not having the housing limited liability company’s name.
Daniel Housing, LLC, is listed in Sublette County records as the owner of the 4.67-acre commercial parcel directly to the east of the Daniel Junction Store & The Den. Daniel Housing LLC is also listed as the owner of the adjacent, highway-fronted 20.8-acre parcel zoned Agriculture-1, class Ag R-3. The third adjacent 33.03-acre parcel to the east is zoned agriculture.
The “parent” property is the larger Clodius Wyoming Trust Family Division, records show.
The three parcels changed hands on the same day, Dec. 10, 2021, with Jon Jay “JJ” Butler of Wild Cat Investments, in Sheridan, granting them to Daniel Housing LLC.
Daniel Housing LLC is not listed as a business entity in Wyoming but is described in county records as a Delaware limited liability corporation. It was formed on Nov. 8, 2021, in Wilmington, Delaware.
The commercial lot is county-appraised at $202,928, the agricultural lots at several thousand dollars – with annual taxes of less than $20 – records show.
