Coke Landers was honored at the 2022 Natural Resource Rendezvous by the Wyoming Association of Conservation Districts (WACD). Coke received the Darrell Walker Outstanding Supervisor Award. Yes, the award is named after Sublette County’s own Darrell Walker. Coke was nominated by Sublette County Conservation District (2010 to present) and the Medicine Bow Conservation District (2008 to 2009). Coke has sat on both of the boards over the years. Lander currently sits on the WACD Board of Directors (2018 to present) representing southwest Wyoming conservation districts. He is very active, not only in Sublette County, but also at the state level. Below is just a portion of what Landers has done and does in his free time.
director, 2018 to present
as the Area V Alternate, 2013 to 2018
When Landers isn’t volunteering for his civic duties, he chases his three daughters around to their sporting events and activities, all while managing the Murdoch Cattle Company. As you can see from the long list of reasons above, Coke was well deserved in earning the 2022 Darrell Walker Outstanding Supervisor Award.
