DANIEL – The tradition of the Mother’s Day Tea carries on another year with new and familiar faces serving from fancy teapots at the Daniel Community Center on Saturday, May 7. Moms, grandmas and their beloved families brought brightly colored teacups and finger food to enjoy in the sunshine of the renovated schoolhouse.

This year the community club will honor dads as well with a special Father’s Day cornhole tournament and food trucks at the Old Daniel Schoolhouse on Sunday, June 19, starting at 2 p.m. While there are plans for the Old Timers Picnic on July 17, the Fall Carnival on Nov. 12 and the Christmas Party on Dec. 18, the Daniel Community Center is available to rent for special occasions and receptions.
