Dillon Guy James

Our world has lost the biggest, brightest personality with his contagious laugh and love for life, family and friends. Dillon could be like a gentle stream, quietly flowing down the mountain, or like the crashing of a waterfall off the peaks. Dillon was one with the mountains, his natural gift was evident to everyone around him.
Dillon loved being outdoors, his heart and soul loved being horseback in the mountains, hunting, fishing, antler hunting and guiding. Dillon’s laughter and twinkle in his eye would light up a room. Dillon and his sister Cassidy were best friends. They were always together laughing and always had a private joke only they knew.
Dillon had a dream of taking over the family outfitting business where he could continue to show people his passion for outdoors, mountains and hunting.
Our young man stands with God to tell his incredible adventures, passion for everything he did and his trials and tribulations. Dillon’s light will live inside those who knew him forever like the bugle of an elk on a cool fall morning.
The Pollard family would like to invite you to a celebration of life on May 7, 2022, at noon at Bald Mountain Outfitters Burnt Lake Camp. Family and friends are welcome to come remember all the joy and stories Dillon gave us over his 23 years.
One of Dillon’s hunters recently wrote: “He was solid. He walked as if God made him a ghost in the wilderness.”
