Cattle calamity

Employees from LJD Hauling work on Saturday to slow traffic and winch up bloated carcasses of seven cattle killed when a livestock hauler’s trailer tipped Friday evening going southbound around Potato Corner, between the Hoback Rim and Bondurant on Highway 191. The out-of-state trucker was not seriously injured but the highway closed between Daniel and Hoback Junction for about seven hours while surviving cattle were moved and debris cleared.
