BPMS students embrace STEAM

BIG PINEY – Eurekus instructors Tyler and Monica Aiello recently returned to Big Piney Middle School as part of their annual STEAM offerings to schools within Sublette County.

Spring residency highlights included bigger motors, new switches and more complex circuit designs from eighth-grade students, hi-tech terrariums and soldering for sixth-graders and skitter critters and habitat projects for seventh-grade students.

This is the seventh year the Pinedale Fine Arts Council has presented the residence in Big Piney, which is primarily funded locally by Marathon Petroleum Corporation with supplies covered by Jonah Energy and additional support from Western Sublette 9 BOCES.

More information on what PFAC is offering in local schools is available at www.pinedalefinearts.com.
