BPHS Hall of Fame ceremony returning

SUBLETTE COUNTY – The Big Piney High School Hall of Fame ceremony will return this fall after last year’s induction ceremony was canceled due to COVID-19 precautions.
Distinguished Alumni Mary Budd-Flitner, Dr. Jonathon Jones, Karen Budd-Falen and Tonia Hoffman will be honored at the ceremony on Saturday, Sept. 18. All of them will be honored be because, as Big Piney graduates, they have established themselves as leaders in their community, state and country.
This year’s Big Piney High School Athletic Hall of Fame will induct Andrew Priddis and Cheryl Long. Priddis was a multi-time state track champion and three-sport standout for the Punchers. Long was a successful swimming coach who earned Wyoming Coaches Association honors while coaching Punchers to a Wyoming State Swim Championship.
Tickets to the ceremony are available at the Big Piney High School Office. The event will begin with a reception at 6 p.m. with dinner immediately following at approximately 7 p.m. There are limited tickets available at $35 per plate.
