Big Piney Hall of Fame starts second decade of inductions

MARBLETON – Plans are being finalized for the upcoming Big Piney Hall of Fame Ceremony. The Marbleton Senior Center will again be the host of the event on Saturday, Sept. 24, beginning with a reception at 5 p.m. followed by dinner.

Anyone interested in attending is urged to reserve tickets early. Tickets can be reserved by calling the Big Piney High School Office at 307-276-3324. The cost for the evening’s event is $35.

Individuals being inducted into the Big Piney Athletic Hall of Fame in 2022 include multi-sport athletes Steve Hughes and Bill Tanner. Former Puncher trackster and University of Wyoming track standout Jace Marx will be the third Puncher inducted into the Hall of Fame.

Four past graduates will be inducted into the Distinguished Alumni division of the Big Piney Hall of Fame, honored for their accomplishments at local, state and national levels. This year’s inductees include Casey Osborn from the Class of 1974, Jenna (Chandler) Banks, from the Class of 1987, and Kenna Tanner from the Class and 1988. K.C. Lehr, Class of 1993, rounds out this year’s honored Distinguished Alumni of Big Piney High School.

The event will also honor is retiring Margy Hawley, retiring after 10 years of long-time support and effort working with the Hall of Fame.

Past recipients of Hall of Fame honors are urged to attend the dinner and ceremony to welcome this year’s new inductees. Come and celebrate as the Hall of Fame starts a new decade of honors. Make plans to honor these past graduates of Big Piney High School now.
