Terror-filled events scheduled for Halloween

With Halloween

coming up, many events for all

ages are popping up throughout Sublette

County. Here’s a list of events to make

things easier on you and your family.

Pinedale events

Saturday, Oct. 26, is the Boulder Community

Center Halloween Carnival from 3

p.m. to 7 p.m. This event is for all ages.

Games, prizes, food and drink, costume

contests and a hay maze.

Wednesday, Oct. 30, Storytime Trick or

Treat at Sublette County Library, 155 S.

Tyler Ave., Baby and Me Storytime starts

at 10:15 a.m. Siblings are welcome. At 11

a.m. all preschool-aged children can walk

to the courthouse lawn for the annual story

time trick or treating event. Stick around

the Lovatt Room for Halloween stories,

songs and goodies.

Thursday, Oct. 31, Halloween with the

Pixie Parlour and Paws In The Winds from

3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Stop by PAWS, 9886

U.S. Highway 191, for pictures of your

pets and kids in costumes. Guess how

many candy corns are in the jar to receive

a gift basket.

Thursday, Oct. 31, Sublette Center 28th

Annual Safe Trick or Treat Nite, 333 N.

Bridger Ave., Pinedale, from 5 p.m. to 6

Thursday, Oct. 31, The Chamber of Commerce

will have a Downtown Business Trick

or Treat. Several businesses will be involved

and some will have activities planned. So

Thursday, Oct. 31, Thrill Night at the Pinedale

Aquatic Center, 535 N. Tyler Ave.,

will be a spooky costume dance for students

sixth to eighth grades. The dance goes from

7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Thursday, Oct. 31, Half Moon Saloon

Halloween Party from 6p.m. to 10 p.m. at

Half Moon Lake Resort. An evening for

adults with free child care available from

6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Courtesy shuttle will be

available. Pick up at Forest Service parking

lot at 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. Drop off

will leave Half Moon Lodge at 9 p.m. and

10:30 p.m.

Thursday, Oct. 31, Come to the Pinedale

Aquatic Center, 535 N. Tyler Ave., for a

good scare in their annual Spook Alley

opening at 4 p.m.

Still feeling the spooky mood after Halloween?

The Sublette County Library will be

holding A Stranger Things Halloween Party

in the Lovatt Room on Nov. 1. Party will go

from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Dress code: Stranger

Things, Stephen King or ‘80s horror.

Big Piney events

Tuesday, Oct. 29, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Big

Piney Library, 106 S. Fish St., will host teen

pumpkin carving. Tools provided free of


Wednesday, Oct. 30, 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.,

Big Piney Library and Big Piney Recreation

Center, 630 Piney Drive, will host the scariest

haunted house to date.

Thursday, Oct. 31, 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., the
